PENUMBRA MISSION STATUS UPDATE, SD 202109.03

Hurricane Ida rudely interrupted our usual flow of events and no Mission Brief was posted this week. At Sim Time, the following was posted in the Discord room:

So, here's my best recollection of the events at the end of the last sim:

We had some phase invariances and nacelle failures that caused our Slipstream jump to go a little off and we dropped out right in the middle of the nasty Badlands.

And the Hawkes were in Sickbay being "evaluated" for their strange hallucinations. They recently had pronounced siezures, during which Kat fell unconscious and Den fell on the floor and broke (off) his arm!

MAX had deduced that whatever caused the Hawkes to "malfunction" began when we were at Lampros Three (where we'd had our one Away Mission in Breen territory). Probably related to that Heavy Cruiser that was in orbit.
